Smith Valuation Consultants ( Smithval ) was founded in 2020 by Mike Smith, SR/WA, MAI to continue a tradition of providing trusted high-level independent real estate appraisal and advisory services across northeastern Colorado from headquarters in Greeley. Mike appraised countless properties in Northern Colorado during nearly 15 years appraising at Foster Valuation Company and remains on the approved appraiser list for CDOT. Clients have included individual property owners, lenders, private and institutional organizations, and Governmental agency for eminent domain, rights of way, utilities, parks open space, and so forth.

As Certified General Real Estate Appraisers, assignments involve numerous non-residential property types and property rights including eminent domain, tax appeal, IRS Estate planning, expert witness testimony, income properties, farms and water rights.
